Each year since 2010, the Schuylkill River Heritage Center has hosted a Heritage Award Celebration.  This event recognizes and honors those individuals who have made a significant contribution to conserving and restoring places, as well as adding new aesthetic additions to Phoenixville’s historic landscape. Examples of former recipients include Marian and David Moskowitz who turned a dormant, former industrial complex into Franklin Commons and Michael Webb and Meg Saligman who painted the original version of the Phoenixville Mural.
